BOURBON

I like bourbon “Neat”. In my 20’s, I drank bourbon with Coke. In my 30’s, I drank bourbon with a large ice ball spinning in the bottom of the glass. In my 40’s, I drink it “Neat”.

I’m older… Maybe wiser… But clearly, I’m beginning to feel weathered from life.

In the Netflix series “Neat”, third-generation, Buffalo Trace Distillery employee, Freddie Johnson says,

Never, ever save old bottles of bourbon. They're meant to be enjoyed with friends and family".

I couldn’t agree more. It has taken many, many years of toil, and strife, and sacrifice, and grace, to understand how special it is to enjoy food and drink with those that mean so much to you. There is something intimate about conversation around a great drink or a great meal.

For this, we honor bourbon. Not for its history or sophisticated taste or simplicity of recipe, but we honor its ability to force us to gather around the table; To cultivate relationships; To create purpose in our conversations. Life happens when we gather with loved ones.

We desire to create opportunities for you to gather with those you love. It creates opportunities to entertain and enjoy one another. It creates an excuse to bring everyone to you. We hope you treat your time like bourbon in a barrel… Patiently waiting, aging gracefully, and purposefully made.

Stop by the shops sometime and let’s talk all things bourbon.

Cheers,

Matt
