OpenDoors Asheville - Art Affair 2022

Heather and I had the opportunity to attend the OpenDoors of Asheville - Art Affair 2022 (https://opendoorsasheville.org/) this past weekend at The Venue (https://ashevillevenue.com/) in downtown Asheville. It was such a joy to attend an event again. We had not been to a major function in nearly two years. I can’t remember the last time that I wore a tie. It felt special.

This is the non-profit’s largest fundraiser and it did not disappoint. Late in the evening, a “live” auction began with bidding on local artist’s creations donated specifically for this special event. It was incredible to watch and be inspired by great art, a great event, and a great cause.

Keeping it classy, I made Heather finish the night with me dining late-night at Waffle House! I love this city!
