The Modern-Day Journaler

“Keeping a personal journal a daily in-depth analysis and evaluation of your experiences is a high-leverage activity that increases self-awareness and enhances all the endowments and the synergy among them.” — Stephen R. Covey

Journaling generates clarity and congruence

Journaling is a fantastic way to gain clarity and congruence in your life. I have just begun a journey to journal first thing in the morning. I am learning that you can quickly see the incongruencies that appear over the course of each day.

If anything occurs that doesn't sit well, I write about it immediately soI don't forget about it later. I want to remember how I felt, how I reacted, and how I overcame the issue. The same goes for something positive—write it down so it remains fresh in your mind when you need some inspiration!

The benefits of journaling are numerous, but the most important thing to remember is that it's a powerful tool for self-discovery. Journaling helps you to achieve clarity by helping you reflect on your experiences, feelings and values in real time.

It also helps you get in touch with what's really important to you by prompting deeper questions about what makes up your identity as an individual.

Journaling is a great way to get in touch with your emotions (boy do I need more of that!), and it can help identify the struggles in your life. When you journal, you are forced to be honest about what's going on inside of you.

The process of writing allows us to look at our feelings and thoughts more objectively--which helps us see what's really going on under all those layers of emotional baggage we've been carrying around for so long!

Journaling is a powerful tool that can help achieve clarity in your life. Join me on this wild ride of personal growth.

Stop in the shop sometime and say hey! Let me know if you are far along on this journaling journey.
