Christmas in July
It’s a weird year for retailers. In fact, the last 3 years have been weird years for retailers. Inconsistent rhythms, stocking issues, ordering product concerns, shipping delays, and fluctuations in travel have all had unique impacts on the industry. Tourism volume around Asheville has been consistently inconsistent for the past 6 months. Talk about feast or famine!
One thing that will never change is the preparation necessary for a successful 4th quarter of retail. To launch into the last half of each year, Heather and I love to do a big “Christmas in July” sale to transition our minds (and the shops) into the next phase of fall and Christmas prep!
This year we are excited to bring a little Christmas magic on Tuesday July 25th (5-months pre-Christmas to the day) with a store-wide sale, longer store hours, 75% off holiday decor, and sip & shop.
